Jaime brings a holistic approach to singing, integrating soul, body, mind and culture. Thanks to her, I have found a new avenue of expression to focus and channel emotion. Not only have I enhanced my listening skills for the nuances in the music, I am now more confident in my voice and being present in the now to realize a more authentic self.

I have a hiatal hernia, which causes my stomach to slide upward through a hole in my diaphragm. This, in turn, causes acid reflux.

Utilizing Jaime’s instruction for proper breathing technique for singing actually causes my stomach to drop out of my diaphragm, and I can feel it return to its’ proper anatomical position.

I have tried other methods of addressing this issue, but breathing techniques for singing are the most effective!

Thanks for all of your kind words, you were a breath of fresh air to me! I attached the song I recorded in Nashville. I hope I did you proud.

Recording this was one of the most exhilarating things I've ever done, and without your class I would've never even had the courage to sing out loud in front of somebody. So THANK YOU!

Jaime's class is packed full of information and exercises to help you take control of your voice and body. I even got a side benefit for my injured knees.

Her program helped to increase strength in my legs by standing up and down to do the various vocal exercises. Go for it!

Singing with Jaime has brought to light a latent throat problem.

Nearly 30 yrs ago I had complicated migraines that caused the entire left side of my face to go numb for up to 5 days per occurrence. The numbing included the interior of my mouth on the left side: tongue, cheek, palate, and throat. After several months, the migraines ceased but left a bit of residual numbing that seemed to disappear completely over the years. However, through Jaime's singing classes with a focus on opening the oral pharynx space, I realized the left side of my throat felt "collapsed" and I was having trouble fully opening the throat.

The vocal exercises have been a focused therapy and made me aware of what is actually happening in the oral pharynx. As I have concentrated on manipulating the structures of the space, I now have a more open feeling in my throat to such a degree that I can now feel the air on the left side as I breathe.

Singing simultaneously uncovered a latent health problem and became the tool for recovery.
